Love the consistancy May 17, 2015
Reviewer: Xavier Virsu from Bakersville, NC United States
I bought 250 rounds of remanufactured 55 gr. fmj in .223.  I bought the ammo to practice with, as I found the Silver Bear that I was using was good, because the price was right, but I was convinced that I could bring my scores up with a better ammo.  I was not disappointed.  The consistency of Freedom is much better than Silver Bear.  The .223 wasn't as "hot" as Silver Bear, but I almost tore the two center rings out of a target with 30 rounds at 100 meters informally shooting off three pillows atop a picnic table bench with just your run -of-the-mill S&W M&P 15 Sport.  The groupings were as good as with higher priced brass ammo.  I couldn't do that with Silver Bear.  The rounds were packed well, and the brass was clean with only a small ding here and there from the feeder-lips of magazines.  It cycled through my firearm flawlessly, and seems to be as clean as the higher priced brass ammo.  The price is right, American quality ammo made my Americans, and consistent performance.

First order from Freedom March 28, 2015
Reviewer: Steven F from Swoyersville , PA United States
I received my first order from Freedom and was surprised to see that the 500 rounds of remanufactured .223 ammo was individually boxed. The ammo looks clean and very few dents. Primers look seated properly. Took to the range today and had zero problems. Accuracy was very good  will order again!!

UPDATE: Got another chance to hit the range. This ammo was shooting 1" groups with iron sights at 75 yards very consistently. Again, no FTF, FTE. I will be ordering the 9mm ammo next. As long as the quality is the same as the .223, I'll be hooked. I really appreciate that I can buy American made ammo at these prices with this quality.

Reviewer: Lucas F. from phoenix, AZ United States
I used this ammo for at a tactical response fighting rifle class for all of first day and the the first couple drills on the second day and had no problems with the rounds I had. I have no complaints at all. I will buy again. You can thank Mr Gunsngear for the plug thats how I found out about you guys.

Underpowerd, but no malfunctions. December 22, 2014
Reviewer: Ryan
chronograph these rounds averaging 2650 out of a 16" barrel at 5000 feet elevation around 50 degrees. Other commercial factory ammo gets 2850 to 2900 feet per second in 223 cambering not 5.56. This seems a little underpowered to me and will affect ballistics out at further ranges if the weapon is zeroed with faster 223 ammo. Freedommuntions lists their velocity as 3240 fps. I am sure this is out of a 20 inch barrel, but when I get faster rounds with different brands of ammo overall..... the proof is in the puddin'. Maybe I got a bad lot?
