OEM SIG P226 9mm 15 Round Magazine
This Sig Sauer Magazine is a Factory Original Replacement Part, manufactured to the same specifications and tolerances using the same materials as the OEM Magazine that came with the pistol, guaranteeing optimal fit and reliable operation. When it comes to semi-automatic firearms, the ammunition feeding device often determines if, and how well, the gun functions. Therefore, whether for use as a backup mag for your concealed carry pistol, or simply to spend a little more time shooting and a little less time reloading on the next trip to the range, keeping a few spare factory magazines handy is never a bad idea.

Awesome Deal/Quality & Fits 3 Popular 9mm's
By kxdan01I have a Sig Sauer P229 "ELITE" 9mm which has the SRT Trigger, Adj. Trijicon Sites, E2 Style Grip, & Increased Capacity Magazine. My gun is new has been since 2013 when it was new, it has been discontinued for a few years & although mine is new & interchanges with basically all other P229 Parts/Accessories- there is one KEY DIFFERENCE! You guessed it, the magazine Capacity is different as older models have a one piece grip that's not removable & the .357/.40 holds 12 Rounds(I have a P229 .40 from about 2005 & it holds 12+1, and the older 9mm's only held one more round with a 13+1 Capacity, kinda low right?
Well the newer ones are much improved in all kinds of little ways but are still the basic, tough & reliable Sig Sauer I know myself & countless others just love & trust their lives to one daily.
To get to the point, the newer P229 Elite 9mm & Many Other Various P229 9mm's switched up to a 15rd Magazine finally! It actually looks slightly different in the fact that it has a lighter shade of finish on the magazine itself- it's almost more of a gray or silver type of a color than traditional Sig Sauer Magazine Black. It says "Sig Sauer P229-1 9mm", but I bought some new in box used magazines from a local guy & they were exactly as you see pictured here & say "Sig Sauer P226 9mm" & are 15 round Magazines allowing for 15+1 Capacity, so at first I thought the guy sold me the wrong magazines/clips for my P229 Elite 9mm & these P226 Magazines are slightly different in physical characteristics but nothing that matters & they load up fully & lock up tight in my P229 Elite 9mm, 1-2 are kinda tough to get seated properly but no big deal & simply requires just a tad more effort & they fit well either way so im sure everything will be smoother as time & the round count goes up.
I JUST WANTED TO POINT OUT THAT THESE P226 15rd 9mm MAGAZINES FIT MY P229 9mm Elite Very Well, all too quality Sig as usual. So if you need extra magazines & can't find original Sig Sauer P229-1 15rd Magazines, you can always try these!
As a really interesting & great side point to know about these magazines is that they fit my Taururus PT111 Pro 24/7 Generation 2 9mm Compact Handgun which only came with 2 12rd Magazines but is an extremely accurate & 100% dependable pistol I carry everywhere I go, I may take a Sig or a AR, possibly a 12 Gauge, maybe a big hunting rifle or a .44 Magnum Revolver but I don't leave home without my PT111 G2 9mm, & the Sig Sauer P226 9mm Magazines fit it perfectly & increase capacity by 3-4 rounds & if you use the correct "X-Grip" Adapter it looks Factory Installed with the Full Size Magazine, I think the X-Grip is for a S&W Shield, you can google it & find out all about it. This P226 15rd Magazine functions flawlessly in my Taurus PT111 G2 9mm, my Newer(made in 2013) Sig Sauer P229 9mm & the Sig Sauer P226 9mm as well! Stock Up & Enjoy these as I do in multiple weapons!
